The ZTE H389X is a home router/Wi-Fi combo provided by the Italian ISP WindTre.

There is some work underway to port a different ZTE CPU to the Linux kernel to add OpenWrt support here .
The software components used in the firmware that are subject to the GNU General Public License Version 2 or later are not publicly available on opensource.ztedevices.com/ . Obtaining the source code requires sending an email to tech.sp@zte.com.cn .
Firmware updates are pushed using TR069 but an image is available in ZTE italian website
.
The rootfs is encrypted with aes-128-cbc using the following key H389X933f3d47dbc.
